Update, back up, and troubleshoot safely
Protect the site before updates, use staging for meaningful changes, and collect the right details when something behaves unexpectedly.

A premium artist site still needs ordinary operational care. Keep current backups, apply security updates, and test meaningful changes before they reach a campaign landing page or checkout.
Before updating
- Confirm the latest backup includes both files and the database.
- Read the release notes.
- Use staging for major theme, plugin, PHP, or commerce changes.
- Finish or pause active editing before deploying files.
When reporting a problem
Include the exact page URL, device and browser, what you expected, what happened, and the steps that reproduce it. Screenshots are helpful; passwords, license keys, client secrets, and access tokens are not.
Clear the correct cache
After a fix, clear the relevant WordPress, host, CDN, and browser cache. Avoid disabling every optimization at once because that makes the real cause harder to identify.
