Create your first Track and connect it to a Release

Create a Track first, then assign it to a single, EP, or album so artwork, credits, service links, and playback stay connected.

A Track is the song itself. A Release is the package that carries one or more Tracks. Keeping those records separate lets the same song appear first as a single and later on an EP or album without creating duplicate catalog data.

Create the Track

  1. Open Music → Tracks and add a Track.
  2. Add the title, artwork, release date, credits, lyrics or story when available.
  3. Upload the browser preview and choose the strongest 30-second section.
  4. Add verified Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube destinations.
  5. Publish and test the preview from the public Music page.

Create or choose the Release

Use Music → Releases for EPs and albums. Add artwork and release notes, then use the ordered tracklist under the main content editor to attach existing Tracks and drag them into the intended order. One-track singles are usually managed from Tracks so visitors go straight to the song page.

Keep the dates and ISRC accurate

Use the actual public release date. Sorting, countdowns, Smart Link behavior, and structured music metadata depend on it. If an ISRC changes, Artist OS flags the music identity for a Smart Link resync so provider matching can correct itself.
